Andi Metzel is a partner in Benesch’s Litigation, Real Estate & Environmental, Transportation & Logistics and China Practice Groups. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, including shareholder and corporate governance disputes, fraud, RICO, land use, construction, shareholder derivative suits, business torts, supply chain, class actions, product liability, trade secrets and non-compete disputes. Andi represents both corporate and individual clients in federal and state courts and before local and state administrative bodies and agencies. She has extensive experience negotiating resolutions in complex business, personal and transactional matters and is involved in many aspects of development and strategic consulting for businesses seeking to invest and grow in Indiana and around the United States. Andi strongly encourages a cooperative dialogue among government and industry leaders and is actively engaged in the ongoing effort to enable businesses to succeed in a competitive global marketplace.
Andi is the president-elect of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) until September 2017 when she will then become president. As president of the ISBA, she will represent the single largest legal organization in the state.
In August of 2011, Andi was appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court and presently continues to serve on the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.
