Chris Connelly focuses his practice on public finance and all aspects of state, local and federal economic development incentives. He has significant experience representing political subdivisions, developers and other private companies in connection with enterprise zone and community reinvestment area property tax exemptions, tax increment financing, state tax credits, state grants and state loans. Chris is also experienced with the formation and use of special purpose economic development entities such as joint economic development districts and new community authorities. Chris also counsels clients on various general state and local tax matters, including real property tax exemptions for charitable and governmental entities, property tax valuation appeals and tax and regulatory issues related to the production of oil and natural gas from shale.
