Benesch is pleased to announce that David H. Kleiman has been elected Chairman of The Wishard Foundation, effective March 23, 2010.
The Wishard Foundation works to raises funds, engage volunteers and manage resources so that Wishard Health Services may improve the quality of life for their patients regardless of their ability to pay. The Wishard Foundation is associated with Wishard Hospital, which is celebrating its 150th year of service to the Indianapolis area as its “safety net” hospital. Earlier this year Wishard Hospital commenced construction of a new hospital – an $800 million facility on the Indiana University-Purdue University Campus in downtown Indianapolis.
Mr. Kleiman is a partner with the firm's Business Reorganization Practice Group. He has represented lenders, creditor committees, debtors and other parties in many large reorganization cases in Indiana and throughout the country. Mr. Kleiman, the first mediator appointed by the bankruptcy court in Indianapolis, has mediated numerous large commercial cases.
