Patrick Egan is Of Counsel with the firm's Executive Compensation & Benefits Practice Group. He has experience representing multiemployer and single employer pension and welfare funds regarding various issues related to the design, operation and amendment and/or restatement of such plans. Patrick advises fund administrators regarding issues arising under ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA and USERRA. He also assists clients in dealing with the obligations imposed under the Pension Protection Act of 2006 and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Additionally, he has experience counseling clients regarding withdrawal liability issues arising under Title IV of ERISA.
Patrick has represented clients before the IRS and U.S. Department of Labor with respect to audit examinations and in correcting various operational and qualification failures.
