Mr. Bell is a partner with the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt and equity financings, and contracts law.
He has chaired numerous panels on the formation, operation, and dissolution of joint ventures and has extensive expertise with issues concerning legal ethics and formal legal opinions. Mr. Bell has represented clients in diverse industries including software development, technology, entertainment, venture capital, steel processing, Internet ventures, and manufacturing.
Mr. Bell was an adjunct professor of contracts law at both Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Cleveland State University School of Law. He has served as a trustee of a number of non-profit agencies.
Mr. Bell is the author of the 2010 Benesch Contract Drafting Style Manual.
