Chris’ practice focuses on wealth planning and preservation for high net worth individuals and families, including closely-held business owners, family offices, and principals of private equity and venture capital funds. Chris has significant experience in designing estate plans that leverage his clients’ estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax (GST) exemptions to pass wealth to future generations in a tax efficient manner. He also regularly advises clients in navigating the domestic and international income tax and corporate law issues associated with these plans.
Chris earned his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the Villanova University School of Law. He is an active writer and commentator on tax issues, having articles published in the Journal of Accountancy, Trusts & Estates, and the ACTEC Law Journal.
