Deviani Kuhar is a partner and chair of the Firm's Business Succession Planning & Wealth Management Practice Group. Deviani focuses her practice on working with clients in reaching their personal estate planning goals. She has assisted clients in implementing a wide range of sophisticated estate planning techniques. Such techniques range from the use of GRATS (grantor retained annuity trusts), QPRTs (qualified personal residence trusts), CRTs (charitable remainder trusts) and IDGTs (intentionally defective grantor trusts) and combinations of these techniques to address both estate and income tax concerns as well as personal family concerns of high net worth individuals.

Deviani represents several wealthy families in dealing with multigenerational wealth transfer planning. Deviani has also assisted families in establishing private family foundations and guided families through foundation to foundation transfers. She also advises these families on a continuing basis in administering and running their private family foundations. Deviani regularly provides guidance to wealthy individuals in charitable giving techniques.
