James von der Heydt represents business clients in complex disputes.  He has experience in efficiently building strong cases; in capturing initiative in the arbitration context or under the Civil Rules; and in writing persuasively for tribunals and mediators.

In addition to an array of multifaceted contract and fraud cases, he has experience with fiduciary-breach investigations, disputes over arbitrability, and many bodies of U.S. law including antitrust, trademark, consumer class actions, and the law of trade secrets.  He has particular interests in the regulation of competition, business bankruptcy, and challenges to corporate transactions.
