Laura represents public and private companies in complex litigation. Her practice focuses on matters involving commercial and business disputes, transportation and logistics matters, and consumer fraud and deceptive practices.
Laura has led the defense of numerous individual and class action cases asserting claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), and various other statutory and common law doctrines. She is skilled at resolving breach of contract disputes, whether involving material breaches, anticipatory breaches, or minor violations. Laura has briefed and argued motions in federal and state courts across the country. Laura is committed to advocacy designed to achieve each clients’ goals.
Prior to entering private practice, Laura served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Benita Y. Pearson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

- Defended a nationwide putative class action seeking to hold DISH Network L.L.C. vicariously liable for 1+ million phone calls made by over a dozen third-parties in alleged violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
- Defended FirstEnergy in a putative class action brought by Schwebel Baking Co. on behalf of itself and similarly situated, large commercial and industrial customers of FirstEnergy.
