Ty Kendrick focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications as a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. A significant portion of Ty's practice is dedicated to preparing patent opinions, including clearance opinions, noninfringement opinions, invalidity opinions, freedom to operate opinions, and patentability opinions.
Ty is experienced in the procurement of patents, from the time of invention disclosure up through issuance. His patent prosecution experience includes such technology areas as engineered structural components, tire mechanics and design, medical devices, tools, and household wares. He also has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to automotive engine technology and vehicle accessories.
Ty's experience also includes drafting motions, pleadings, damages summaries and analyzing patent claims for Markman hearings.
Ty's client range from independent investors and startups to large multinational corporations and publicly traded companies.
