Andrea focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts across the country, including matters of defamation and breach of contract. She also maintains a pro bono practice, having represented incarcerated individuals in claims for medical malpractice/deprivation of rights, and refugees fleeing violence in other nations and seeking asylum in the United States.
Prior to joining Benesch, Andrea gained experience drafting and responding to dispositive motions, drafting answers to complaints and discovery, and conducting legal research in a litigation role at a mid-sized firm.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Andrea worked in finance at a national bank collaborating with regulators and in-house counsel to satisfy post-financial crisis regulatory requirements for large banks.
