Claire is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and focuses on commercial leasing in retail, office, health care and other commercial spaces.
She has also represented clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. She has experience negotiating, drafting and reviewing a variety of transactional documents, including commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and easements and licenses.
Representative Experience
- Represented Crete United, a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners, in its acquisition of Hartwig Mechanical, LLC, an industrial and commercial mechanical contractor, for an enterprise value of $72.5 million.
- Represented Crete United, a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners, in its acquisition of Swedberg Electric, LLC, an electrical contractor, for an enterprise value of $11.8 million.
- Represented Alpine Investors and its portfolio company Ascend, a provider of practice management services to accounting businesses, in an add-on acquisition.
- Represented a large private equity fund in connection with its acquisition of twenty-one retail/industrial properties in a more than $40 million NNN sale-leaseback portfolio transaction.
- Represented the Buyer in its acquisition of the equity of an HVAC company located in Georgia.
- Represented a leading international investment and management firm by performing all diligence and related needs for their purchase of loans in default for a total of over $600 million and subsequent foreclosures, involving over 70 properties in California.
- Represented the buyer in its acquisition of a pet treat manufacturing company, a transaction which included a rollover of equity interests.
- Represented a large real estate private equity fund through its communications infrastructure company in multiple acquisitions in 2023, including 42 properties and related wireless communication facilities in California, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. These acquisitions included over one hundred tenant interests and a combined value of over $100 million.
- Represented a large real estate private equity fund through its communications infrastructure companies in multiple acquisitions of more than one hundred telecommunications assets and related real property interests in California, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin for a total of over $75 million.
- Represented portfolio company of private equity fund in add-on acquisition of manufacturer of premium, highly engineered products and assemblies in the transportation, HVACR, aerospace, defense, and medical industries.
