Since joining Benesch, Jane has contributed to a variety of litigation matters, including general litigation, complex commercial disputes and intellectual property cases. Jane has supported trial teams by conducting in-depth legal research, analyzing witness testimony, preparing demonstrative exhibits and crafting cross-examination outlines for key expert witnesses. She has also drafted motions and briefs in both local and federal jurisdictions, including a motion to dismiss in an energy services case and a brief in opposition in ongoing litigation.
Jane’s work at Benesch is informed by her prior experiences, which includes working for Judge Lisa Forbes at the Eighth District Court of Appeals of Ohio and as a legal extern for Case Western Reserve University’s Appellate Litigation Clinic. In both capacities, Jane developed a deep appreciation for the intricacies of the law and the importance of considering every possible interpretation. While participating in the Clinic, Jane advocated for her clients and presented oral argument before the Eighth District Court of Appeals in Ohio.
