Kevin advises publicly and privately held companies on a broad range of matters, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments and other strategic transactions and general corporate matters. Kevin has represented both leading and emerging private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as Fortune 500 companies, on transactions across sectors, and has substantial experience in software, healthcare, consumer retail, manufacturing and industrial transactions among others.
Kevin also has substantial experience representing institutional investors on fund investments and co-investments, and previously served as lead counsel to the Alternative Investments department STRS Ohio, an $88 billion public pension fund, where he assisted with structuring, negotiating and documenting transactions exceeding $3.5 billion in invested capital and helped establish the fund’s direct and co-investment programs.
Prior to joining Benesch, Kevin was a corporate partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

- Represented a private equity sponsor and its portfolio company in multiple add-on acquisitions, including the acquisition of a wholesaler and distributor of industrial weights and related measuring equipment.
- Represented the buyer in its acquisition of a distributor of lifting products and accessories.
- Represented Arsenal Capital Partners and portfolio company Revolution Plastics on the acquisition of Five Points Film.
