Monica (Mona) has experience in all aspects of corporate transactional practice.
She represents clients around the country, as well as international clients doing business in the United States, on a wide range of business transactions such as equity and asset acquisitions, dispositions, financing, venture capital, corporate restructuring, offerings, corporate governance, general contract review, and other corporate matters.
Prior to joining Benesch, Mona was an associate at a corporate transactional boutique firm in Miami, Florida, was general counsel for a fast-growing technology startup, taught an LLM program at Tumaini University in Iringa, Tanzania, and was an International Human Rights Fellow at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia where she was part of a team that presented a paper to Australian Parliament.

- Represented a steel manufacturing company in a $22 million sale of its alloy extrusions businesses to a strategic purchaser.
