Owen represents U.S. and international real estate private equity funds, investors, developers, and corporations in a wide array of complex debt and equity transactions. His practice spans acquisitions, dispositions, senior and subordinate financings, joint ventures, and sale-leaseback arrangements across asset classes including hospitality, office, industrial, retail, and multifamily.
Owen has extensive experience drafting and negotiating loan documents, commercial leases, and key ancillary agreements, and regularly manages thorough due diligence—including zoning, title, survey, and related property-level reviews—throughout the full lifecycle of a transaction. He also advises on real estate matters connected to M&A and bankruptcy, crafting and negotiating real estate provisions in stock and asset purchase agreements and lease-related arrangements.
Beyond his transactional work, Owen maintains an active pro bono practice. He has negotiated lease agreements for nonprofit organizations, assisted elderly clients with estate planning, and supported asylum seekers by reviewing and drafting essential government forms.
