Riley maintains a broad litigation practice, assisting clients with a wide range of matters. Drawing on her background in psychology and criminal justice, she is passionate about fighting for her clients, ensuring their needs are met and developing strategies that protect their interests.
During law school, Riley interned with the Missouri State Public Defender’s Parole Revocation team, where she attended hearings and advocated for clients’ release before the Parole Board, building critical oral advocacy and persuasion skills. She also served as a member of her university’s Wrongful Conviction Clinic, where she worked on post-conviction relief matters representing clients with credible claims of innocence. In this role, she gained hands-on experience conducting investigations, interviewing witnesses and collaborating with experts to compel the court to allow retesting of forensic evidence. Through this work, she learned the importance of uncovering every fact and angle in pursuit of justice.
Riley has wanted to be a lawyer for as long as she can remember. Before law school, she worked as a legal secretary at Boren, Oliver & Coffey, LLP, and gained early exposure to the legal process by assisting attorneys and drafting criminal and civil pleadings. This experience reinforced her desire to pursue a legal career and provided a strong foundation in client service and case preparation.
