As Benesch continues to grow nationwide, the firm has announced the hiring of a pair of attorneys in its Chicago office.
The firm is pleased to announce the additions of associate Madhavi Seth and partner Sara Helene Shanti to its Chicago office. Seth joins the firm’s Litigation and Class Action Practice Group, while Shanti joins the firm’s Health Care & Life Sciences Practice Group.
“Madhavi and Sara are outstanding additions to our team. Our business clients are focused on the dynamic health care sector and on navigating through litigation quickly and efficiently,” said Gregg Eisenberg, the firm’s Managing Partner and Executive Committee Member. “Building our capacity to deliver quality work for them in these areas is a key priority.”
Seth represents clients facing a wide range of federal and state claims, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), false advertising, consumer fraud, unfair and deceptive practices, data privacy, and fiduciary duty.
She graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School and summa cum laude from Emory University.
Shanti’s practice focuses on counseling clients on health care regulatory and transactional work and various digital health matters, including artificial intelligence, breach notification and response, mobile applications, and telemedicine.
She graduated from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and the University of Michigan.
The announcement of the hiring of Seth and Shanti comes on the heels of Benesch moving to a new home in Chicago. The new office space, located at 71 S. Wacker Dr., takes on a 64,000 sq. foot space, and is ready to house approximately 90 attorneys.
Overall, Seth and Shanti are joining Benesch’s Chicago office during a time of significant growth for the firm. More than 70 attorneys have joined the firm in the last 18 months. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, the firm has advanced 19 places and is currently ranked at number 176.
