Benesch welcomes associate Arielle J. Lester to the firm’s Healthcare+ Practice Group in Cleveland.
Arielle’s practice is focused on all areas of health law with an emphasis on transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters, including, but not limited to transactional due diligence, analysis of federal and state regulations, licensing, scope of practice, telemedicine, and corporate practice of medicine. Arielle also has experience with payor audit and compliance investigations, corporate healthcare policies and procedures, physician/practitioner employment, and employer-immigration matters. Prior to joining Benesch, Arielle worked for medical malpractice and business advisory firms. During law school, she worked in several capacities for large healthcare systems, local government, and for non-profit entities, such as the Entrepreneurs EDGE.
Arielle received her J.D. and Health Law Certificate from the University of Akron School of Law, and her B.A. and M.A. in History from Youngstown State University. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Cleveland Medical Library Association and is an advocate for medical-legal partnerships in academia and in the non-profit sector.
Arielle is one of over 20 new attorneys to join Benesch so far this year. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, Benesch has advanced 32 places and is currently ranked at number 164.
