Benesch Expands Healthcare Practice in New York with Addition of Pamela Polevoy as Of Counsel

Press Releases

Benesch, one of the fastest-growing firms on the Am Law 200 list, is pleased to welcome Pamela Polevoy as of counsel in its nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group. Pamela focuses her practice on representing healthcare businesses and professionals in transactional matters, helping clients structure arrangements that align with and advance their business goals. She brings a deep understanding of each client’s organization and objectives – insight she believes is key to delivering thoughtful, results-driven legal counsel.

“Pamela’s practical and collaborative approach, combined with her deep transactional experience, makes her a tremendous asset to our team and to our clients,” said Frank Carsonie, Chair of Benesch’s Healthcare+ Practice Group. “Her ability to navigate the complexities of healthcare deals with clarity and purpose is exactly the kind of leadership that supports our clients’ success.”

Building on her strategic mindset, Pamela regularly advises clients through buy-side and sell-side acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other structural arrangements, guiding them from initial negotiations to closing. Her experience spans a diverse range of healthcare sectors, including ambulatory surgery centers, radiology, fertility, dialysis services, dental, veterinary, micro-hospitals and pharmacy benefit management. Pamela prides herself on fostering arrangements that not only meet business goals but also support better outcomes for patients.

“I am excited to become a part of Benesch’s Healthcare team, recognizing the strong foundation that the group provides for professionals, businesses and investors in the healthcare sector: transactional, compliance, regulatory, investigations and day-to-day support,” said Pamela. “One of the things that appealed to me the most about coming to Benesch was knowing that I would be among an esteemed group of legal professionals who can support clients’ full range of legal needs while maintaining a smaller firm feel and prioritizing client experience.”

Prior to joining Benesch, Pamela served as Special Counsel at Mintz. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A., also magna cum laude, from Queens College, City University of New York. A member of both the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association, Pamela remains deeply engaged in the broader legal and health law communities. Her academic distinction and professional affiliations reflect a steadfast commitment to providing thoughtful, informed counsel.

Benesch’s Healthcare Practice Group has earned a national reputation for delivering trusted, strategic counsel to healthcare clients across the country.
