Puja joins Benesch’s San Francisco office as the firm continues its strategic growth in key markets and practice areas.

Puja represents a diverse client base, from innovative startups to established industry leaders, guiding them through high-stakes IP disputes and commercial litigation in federal courts, arbitration, and before the Patent and Trademark Office. She is known for translating complex technical issues, including those surrounding the use of generative AI, medical devices, social media and other technologies, into clear, persuasive arguments at trial and in major dispositive motions, resulting in a proven track record of success.
In addition to her practice, Puja is active in professional and community organizations, including the South Asian Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch (2025, 2026) and as an LCLD Pathfinder.
Prior to joining Benesch, Puja served as trial counsel in significant matters, including leading trial teams in billion-dollar patent disputes among global industry competitors and in high-profile technology and software trade secret and copyright cases, and she has experience working to shape the future of the copyright fair use defensive in the generative AI space.
