Benesch is pleased to announce Judy L. Woods has been appointed by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Electronic Discovery Pilot Program Committee to chair the Ethics and E-Discovery Task Force. Judy will report to the Committee in 2017.
The Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program Committee was formed in May 2009 to conduct a multi-year, multi-phase process to develop, implement, evaluate, and improve pretrial litigation procedures that would provide fairness and justice to all parties while seeking to reduce the cost and burden of electronic discovery consistent with Rule 1 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Judy is a partner in Benesch’s Litigation Practice Group and co-chairs the Financial Institutions Litigation focus area. Judy focuses her practice on complex commercial and “bet the company” litigation, including antitrust, class actions, shareholder and corporate disputes, international contracts, finance disputes, fraud, RICO, and other business disputes.
