Benesch's Real Estate attorneys represented Landerhaven Country Club Estates, Ltd., the property owner of the building leased by Ferro Corp. for its new global headquarters in Mayfield Heights. Ferro, a producer of specialty chemicals, will move out of downtown Cleveland and relocate to Landerhaven's two-story, 63,000-square-foot office early this Fall. Ferro said the new global headquarters will house corporate departments and business teams currently located at their downtown location and at three locations in Independence. The new headquarters will be home to approximately 150 employees.
Benesch's representation, led by Norman Gutmacher, included negotiating the lease and negotiating a construction contract for the improvements to be made to the building prior to Ferro moving in.
