Benesch Welcomes Partner Kristen Cramer to Firm's Intellectual Property Group in Wilmington

Press Releases

Benesch, one of the fastest-growing firms on the AmLaw 200 list, continues to strengthen its Intellectual Property Practice Group with the addition of Kristen Cramer as partner in the firm’s Wilmington office.

Cramer is an accomplished attorney and deeply skilled litigator who focuses her practice on high-stakes patent litigation, transactions, agreements, and other IP disputes for both domestic and international clients. Drawing on more than 25 years of intellectual property law experience, she represents clients across multiple, often highly regulated industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, consumer products, and more. Cramer is widely recognized for her exceptional record in the courtroom, where she has successfully served as counsel in numerous proceedings at the federal and appellate levels and in review proceedings before the Patent and Trial Appeal Board.

“Kristen is a seasoned patent attorney who is as comfortable in the courtroom as she is at the negotiating table,” said Gregg Eisenberg, Benesch Managing Partner. “She has solidified her reputation as a persistent client advocate by consistently going above and beyond, and we look forward to her contributions to our growing IP practice.”

In addition to her background in intellectual property law, Cramer is an experienced civil litigator, having represented clients in corporate, commercial, bankruptcy, and class action matters. Over the course of her career, she has built a notable and impactful pro bono practice, counseling clients in family court, acting as guardian ad litem, and representing children in foster care through the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate.

“I am proud to join Benesch’s intellectual property litigation team, and my clients will benefit immediately from the depth and capacity of the firm’s renowned attorneys, both in the IP group and beyond,” said Cramer. “After gaining invaluable experience as in-house litigation counsel, I’m looking forward to the next chapter in my career with a firm that matches my commitment to providing sophisticated legal counsel and outstanding client service while achieving positive results for our clients.”
