Benesch is pleased to announce that Christopher Razek, Senior Managing Associate in the firm’s Transportation & Logistics Practice Group, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Cleveland Chapter. He will serve as Director of Professional Development.
In this role, Chris will support the Chapter’s efforts to provide meaningful professional development opportunities and educational programming for purchasing, supply chain and materials management professionals. His responsibilities include helping lead initiatives that promote continued learning, expand outreach and strengthen member engagement across the region.
ISM advances the supply chain and strategic sourcing profession through education, certification programs and opportunities for leadership, networking and the exchange of ideas.
In his legal practice, Chris provides strategic counsel to clients across the supply chain, including carriers, freight forwarders, shippers, depositors, warehouse logistics providers and fulfillment vendors. He assists clients with obtaining and maintaining required registrations, licenses and operating authorities across all modes of transportation and levels of government.
He has developed a niche in the warehousing and fulfillment space, negotiating contracts across a variety of sectors including retail, pharmaceutical, alcohol and utilities. In addition, he advises clients on alcohol regulatory compliance and assists with due diligence in transactions involving government contractors and subcontractors. Chris has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers “Rising Star.”
