Benesch is pleased to announce that Kate Harmon was elected as Vice President At-Large of the Delaware State Bar Association’s (DSBA) Executive Committee on June 22, having previously served as a Member-at-Large, Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer and Vice-President New Castle County.
This is Kate’s sixth year serving on the Committee and, after serving as President-Elect in 2022-2023, she will become President of the DSBA in 2023. Her two-year term serving as Co-Chair of the Women and the Law section of the DSBA ends on June 30th.
Kate is a litigation associate with Benesch and has experience handling all aspects of complex commercial litigation, corporate litigation, bankruptcy litigation, corporate governance, entity formation, non-profit representation, insurance coverage disputes, compliance and intellectual property matters across various state and federal courts. She received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 2009, her Masters in Social Services and Masters in Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 2005, and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2002.
