Benesch is thrilled to announce that for the third consecutive year, the firm’s brand will be front and center on the track at the highly anticipated NASCAR Chicago Street Race. As part of its ongoing partnership with Kaulig Racing, the #16 Benesch Chevrolet will be driven by rising NASCAR star Christian Eckes in The Loop 110 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, July 5 at 3:30 p.m. CT.
With nine career Truck Series wins, 73 top-10 finishes and a promising first full-time season in the Xfinity Series, Eckes is quickly becoming one to watch. His debut in the Benesch Chevy will be one of the highlights of the Chicago Street Race, which drew nearly 55,000 attendees and 3.87 million viewers last year.
“We’re proud of our partnership with Kaulig Racing and excited to once again see the Benesch brand featured on such a prominent stage in one of our fastest-growing markets,” said Benesch Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “The visibility and energy of this event are unmatched, and we’ll be cheering Christian on every lap of the way.”
Benesch’s Chicago office has been in the fast lane since opening in 2015. Now the firm’s second-largest office, the team has more than doubled in size in just the past five years, growing from 68 attorneys to over 140 today. Benesch has been recognized by the Chicago Lawyer as one of the fastest-growing firms in the city.
“Benesch has been a valued partner of ours for several years now, and we’re thrilled to continue that relationship in one of the most high-profile races of the season,” said Kaulig Racing President Chris Rice. “Chicago is always a blast, and we’re ready to hit the streets and give fans an adrenaline-filled show to look forward to.”
During the race, streets in and around downtown Chicago will be shut down and converted into a 2.2-mile, 12-turn track surrounding Grant Park. Drivers will complete 50 high-intensity laps, covering 110 miles through one of the most unique venues in the NASCAR circuit.
Tune in to the CW on Saturday, July 5 at 3:30 p.m. CT / 4:30 p.m. ET to catch the Benesch Chevy in action.
