Margolis and Mehalko Elected to Benesch's Executive Committee

CLEVELAND, OHIO – January 1, 2008 – Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP announced that Kevin D. Margolis and Megan L. Mehalko and have been elected to the firm's Executive Committee. They will each be serving a three year term, beginning January 1, 2008.

Mr. Margolis is Chair of the firm's Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group, Chair of the firm's Hiring Committee and a member of the firm's Diversity Initiative Committee. He focuses his practice on environmental law and compliance and the environmental aspects of real estate development and brownfield redevelopment, corporate transactions and commercial lending.

Ms. Mehalko is Chair of the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. She also serves as Chair of the firm's Polymer Group, is a member of the firm's Private Equity Group and China Groups and serves on the firm's Professional Personnel Committee. Ms. Mehalko focuses her practice on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, domestic and cross border strategic alliances and joint ventures, counseling Boards of Directors with respect to governance and strategic activities, and distressed/insolvent company acquisitions and restructurings.

Ira Kaplan, Managing Partner of the firm stated, "We are very pleased that Kevin and Megan have been elected to the firm's Executive Committee. They both have proven leadership and dedication to the firm's initiatives."
