Not-for-Profit/Corporate

Benesch's Not-for-Profit Team assists not-for-profit organizations in initial organizational matters including entity formation, development of policies and procedures, formation of board of trustees, and obtaining tax-exempt status with the IRS. We also structure and negotiate acquisitions, divestitures and financings for not-for-profit organizations. In addition, we assist in the periodic corporate activities of our not-for-profit clients including, but not limited to, facilitating board meetings, contract negotiation, and compliance with governmental entities such as the IRS.
