Health Care Bankruptcy/Reorganization

The health care industry has experienced a marked increase in the both the size and frequency of provider and payor bankruptcies and reorganizations. Members of the Benesch Healthcare+ Practice Group, in conjunction with members of our Business Reorganization Practice Group, have represented debtors, creditors and creditors' committees in a number of large and high profile bankruptcy cases, including those involving Dow Corning (breast implants), Genesis Health Ventures (long term care) and Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital (hospital).
