Chris has extensive experience in the litigation of complex commercial and intellectual property disputes involving consumer products, life sciences, software and electronics.
Chris has represented clients throughout the United States and the world in litigation at the trial and appellate court levels, in arbitration and in other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. His experience includes trade secret misappropriation under state and federal law, false advertising, unfair business practices, patent infringement, inventorship disputes, anti-trust claims, and other intellectual property issues.
Chris has represented some of the best-known brands around the world, including Hyundai, Amgen, Qualcomm, Oracle, Johnson & Johnson, Meta Platforms, Inc. (formerly Facebook) and Samsung. In addition, he has successfully represented consumer products, semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, software, health care and biotech companies.
Chris has frequently guest lectured on litigating intellectual property and commercial disputes at law schools in and around the Bay Area, including the University of California at Berkeley (where he did his undergraduate work and played on three national championship rugby teams) and Stanford.
