Davis has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to a wide range of technologies in various areas, including graphical user interfaces, data processing, data analytics, social networking, software as a service, online advertisements, network connectivity, data base management, gas turbine engines, turbochargers, medical devices, air conditioners, furnaces, refrigeration systems, process control systems and devices for automotive and industrial applications, wireless control systems, transmissions, hydraulic systems, wind power generation and aerospace.

Davis’s practice includes drafting and filing domestic and foreign patent and trademark applications and amendments, as well as conducting patent searches and rendering legal opinions on patentability. His practice further includes counseling clients in developing patent landscapes and managing patent portfolios.

Davis has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa.
