Gregg has served as Benesch’s Managing Partner since 2015, and was unanimously reelected to a fourth term earlier this year. Under his leadership, the firm has grown to nearly 500 attorneys across six offices, including expansions and steady growth in Chicago, San Francisco and New York. Benesch has advanced in the Am Law 200 rankings each year since its debut in 2016 and is currently ranked #127. Most recently, Benesch was named the largest law firm in Northeast Ohio—a testament to the firm’s continued growth and leadership in the region.
Gregg is a corporate attorney with a robust practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, as well as public and private debt and equity financings. He represents both publicly and privately held companies at various stages of growth, providing strategic counsel and guidance.
Among his many accolades, Gregg was named a finalist for the 2024 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® East Central Award by Ernst & Young LLP and recognized as a Most Loved CEO by the Best Practice Institute.
