Benesch has chosen Juan Morado, Jr. to be a member of the 2020 class of Fellows, participating in a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
“This is an honor for me. Benesch’s commitment to diversity is one of the many reasons I joined the firm,” said Morado. “Furthermore, the LCLD is a tremendous organization with excellent values, and I look forward to helping the next generation of lawyers find their way.”
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 260 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Fellows program, which has trained more than a thousand mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.
“It is important for the legal community to reflect the diversity of the community overall,” said Gregg Eisenberg, Benesch Managing Partner. “LCLD is an important organization focused on this goal. Juan joins a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations.”
Juan is a partner in Benesch’s Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Group. He advises hospitals, health systems, physician groups, pharmacies, cannabis businesses and other clients, helping them to ensure compliance while navigating complex regulatory requirements and implementation of industry best practices.
