Sale & Leaseback

The Real Estate Practice Group works with owners, investors, lenders and other clients in connection with complex sale leaseback transactions including transactions involving equity participation and debt financing.

Sale leasebacks are often used in situations when the owners of real property need to raise capital in circumstances where conventional financing may not be available or appropriate, though the retention of possession and control over the property is required.

Experience

  • Sale-leaseback of a manufacturing facility and a separate office building (aggregating over 400,000 square feet) for over $20 Million (represented the seller/tenant).
  • Represented a national investor in the acquisition and financing of two supermarket properties and leasing those properties back to the seller.
  • Sale-leaseback of four manufacturing facilities in four states for over $48 Million (represented the seller/tenant).
