Benesch is pleased to announce that Igor Ozeruga, Adam Primm and Jackie Staple have joined the firm.
Igor Ozeruga is an associate in Benesch’s Intellectual Property/3iP Practice Group. He has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of electrical engineering and applied physics technologies, including preparation of and prosecution of patent applications in the areas of analog and digital circuitry, software, databases, wireless and satellite communications, network topology, sensors, semiconductor device fabrication, RADAR/LADAR, wave and video imaging, medical devices and equipment, calibration, microprocessors, power controls, optics, accelerometers, gyroscopes, quantum computing, batteries, encryption, and unmanned aircraft systems. Igor received his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 2015 and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry , magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University in 2011.
Adam Primm is an associate in Benesch’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. He represents employers in state and federal civil litigation involving discrimination, harassment, benefits, wage and hour law, and wrongful termination. Adam also represents employers before the National Labor Relations Board regarding unfair labor practice charges and representation matters and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. Adam has experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and administering employers’ internal grievance and arbitration processes. Adam received his J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law in 2010 and his Duel B.S. in Finance and Sport Management, summa cum laude, from Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business in 2007.
Jackie Staple is an associate in Benesch’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. Jackie has handled discrimination charges before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state administrative agencies. She has experience conducting investigations, and has handled numerous discrimination lawsuits based on race, gender, age, disability, and military status. Jackie has briefed appeals in state and federal court, including the Ohio Supreme Court. In addition to working with employers in thehealthcare, finance and banking, and retail industries, Jackie formerly worked in student affairs and has advised colleges and universities on Title IX compliance. Jackie received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2013, and her B.S. and M.A. degrees in Art Education in 2007 and 2008, respectively, from Case Western Reserve University.
