Benesch Debuts at No.19 on Crain’s Chicago Business’ Largest Law Firms
September 17, 2025
Benesch is pleased to announce its debut on Crain’s Chicago Business’ list of the largest law firms in Chicago, ranking No.19 out of 50. This milestone marks the firm’s first appearance in the publication’s annual ranking and reflects Benesch’s continued momentum in the Chicago market.
Since opening the doors of its Chicago office in 2015, Benesch has experienced significant growth, expanding its ranks while cultivating strong client relationships and building a presence in Chicago as one of the firm’s most dynamic growth markets.
“When we opened our Chicago office with just two attorneys, we set out with great ambition to build something special,” said Chicago Partner-in-Charge Manish K. Mehta. “Ten years later, our Chicago team has grown to nearly 150 attorneys and together we’ve formed a strong brand and reputation in the market. This recognition is a testament to how far we’ve come together.”
Benesch’s Chicago office has been recognized by Chicago Lawyer as one of the city’s fastest-growing firms and has earned several workplace accolades, including being named among U.S. News’ Best Companies to Work For, listed among Newsweek’s 100 Most Loved Workplaces in America and recognized by the Chicago Tribune as a Top Workplace.
