Benesch’s Client PartSource Closes $50 Million Minority Recapitalization

CLEVELAND, OH – August 11, 2008 – Benesch client, PartsSource, received $50 million from investors in a minority recapitalization that closed last month. Polaris Venture Partners in Waltham, Mass., led the company’s first round of venture capital investment. Primus Capital in Mayfield Heights also participated in the round.
PartsSource is the leading multi-manufacturer alternative medical parts provider for hospital equipment. PartsSource offers replacement part support for thousands of makes, models and modalities of hospital equipment. The company captures parts requests online or over the phone while sourcing bids from thousands of vendors on the open market to quickly secure pricing options for customers.
