Recent Anti-Semitic Attacks — Benesch Stands Against Violence
May 24, 2021
Over the past several days, a number of antisemitic attacks have occurred across our nation and abroad. These latest attacks cause us to once again pause and reaffirm our commitment to stand united at all times against racism, violence and discrimination in all forms.
The wave of attacks that we continue to witness across our country are both horrific and alarming. And, as a diverse firm, every time one of these discrimination-based attacks occur, many of our team members are personally impacted by the violence.
Discrimination has been happening for far too long. In fact, the existence of our firm is a direct result of discrimination, as our founding partners — all of whom were Jewish — were not welcome at many other law firms.
Discrimination is simply unacceptable. To the many Benesch team members of Jewish faith that are personally impacted by these latest attacks, we stand in solidarity with you. We are a family and we are here for you.
