The article covers Law360’s 2025 midyear bankruptcy report, highlighting how shifting federal policies, aggressive tariffs, and broader economic pressures have fueled major Chapter 11 filings—including those by Sunnova, Marelli, Wolfspeed, and 23andMe. Benesch’s Seth Kleinman weighed in, noting, “We’ve seen some effects of tariffs, but I don’t think we’ve seen them really trickle through quite yet.” Regarding J&J’s talc case, he added, “I don’t think it’s going to be a major driver of change in the restructuring business.”
