Overview

Karla A. Olivier brings more than a decade of experience leading strategic initiatives, professional development programs and practice management functions within premier law firms and financial advisory firms. She has extensive experience managing attorney workflow and staffing, overseeing professional development and competency-based training programs, and designing recruiting, retention and mentoring initiatives that support talent growth and organizational success.

As Practice Director, Karla partners closely with Real Estate Practice Group leadership to drive operational excellence, enhance service delivery and advance the group’s strategic objectives. She oversees attorney staffing and workflow management to align client needs with professional development goals, advises on associate evaluation, promotion, compensation and transition strategies, develops training and career development programs, and leads mentoring and team-building initiatives that foster collaboration, engagement and retention.

Before transitioning into practice management, Karla founded her own law practice, representing institutional lenders, buyers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions. She also practiced corporate law at several prominent firms, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and other complex business transactions.
