Overview
Katie represents businesses from a diverse range of industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals, financial services and commercial real estate. She often manages and coordinates multi-jurisdiction litigation across both state and federal courts.
Katie frequently represents clients in complex business disputes in connection with contract disputes, business torts, employment claims, and other commercial and financial matters. She has extensive experience representing businesses in trade secret misappropriation actions.
Additionally, Katie represents clients in actions involving a variety of industries and technologies, including medical devices, consumer products, and financial services. Her IP litigation experience includes a variety of Lanham Act litigation, trade secret misappropriation cases, complex patent disputes, and the management of associated state law claims.
She also has experience defending companies and individuals in all types of government investigations and regulatory enforcement actions, including by U.S. Attorney’s Offices, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and state agencies.
Katie has also represented Chapter 11 debtors, creditors, and other parties in complex bankruptcy litigation.
