Foul on the Play! addresses the evolution of Title IX regulations and enforcement in athletic programs at both the high school and collegiate levels. The session will provide an overview of prominent litigation addressing gender equity, name, image, and likeness, locker room etiquette, preferred pronoun use, transgender athlete participation in sport competitions/events, and other topics. Attendees will explore best practices in investigation responses and ways to align their institution’s values with the return to 2020 Title IX regulatory standards. This session is designed for Title IX professionals who are navigating regulatory changes while crafting forward-thinking policies and procedures.
