Benesch, a leading law firm with 350 attorneys and offices in Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, New York, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Wilmington, is pleased to announce that Shanae Nelson has joined the firm as an Associate within the Corporate & Securities Practice Group.
Shanae has a wide range of experience in the corporate practice area. In her previous roles, she has taken part in advising on M&A and divestiture transactions, general corporate governance matters, contract review, and nondisclosure agreements. Shanae has led and assisted with due diligence processes, coordinated deal teams, and assisted with entity formation. In addition, Shanae has also been involved in pro-bono work that involves assisting Chicago residents with the naturalization process as well as forming nonprofits.
Shanae earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and her B.A. in Education Studies from DePauw University.
