Benesch welcomes Steven Walsh as an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in Wilmington.
Steve focuses his practice on complex restructuring, as well as corporate and commercial litigation. Steve has experience representing debtors, secured lenders and other creditors, third-party bidders, plan trustees, equity holders, and other constituencies in all aspects of corporate restructuring, including contingency planning, in-court reorganizations, and out-of-court workouts.
Steve also advises litigants in state (including the Delaware Court of Chancery), bankruptcy, and other federal courts, as well as ADR settings, on matters involving a variety of claims under state corporate and commercial, securities and bankruptcy laws. He has experience in all aspects of the litigation lifecycle, including dispositive motion practice, complex discovery, trials and evidentiary hearings, and appellate practice.
Steve also represents local children as guardian ad litem in the Delaware Family Court. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and received his B.S. in Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University.
