Benesch Adds Partner to Commercial Finance Team in Columbus

As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome Partner Andrew S. Nicoll to its Commercial Finance & Banking Practice Group in Columbus.
“We’re excited to add Andy to our commercial finance team,” said Benesch’s Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “He is an outstanding resource to help guide our middle-market and growing clients through the key transactions that will position them for success in this still-uncertain economy.”
Andy’s practice includes representing both lenders and borrowers in the origination and workout of syndicated, large corporate, commercial and middle-market credit facilities. He also represents creditors and debtors in foreclosures, receivership, bankruptcies, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Andy has represented both buyers and sellers in Section 363 assets sales, and has prosecuted and defended numerous fraudulent transfer and preference avoidance actions ranging in size from $10,000 to over $600 million.
Additionally, Andy represents financial institutions in the sale of distressed commercial loans and residential mortgage loan pools. He received his J.D., M.A., and B.S. from Brigham Young University.
