Benesch Partner Juan Morado Jr. Named 2026 “Notable Leader in Law” by Crain’s Chicago Business

Benesch is pleased to announce that Juan Morado Jr., a partner in the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group, has been selected to the “2026 Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law” list by Crain’s Chicago Business.
This recognition highlights accomplished professionals whose work shapes business, civic life and the legal profession. The annual list honors distinguished leaders from Chicago’s legal, accounting and consulting communities who are helping clients navigate litigation, transactions, regulatory developments and growth initiatives. Representing a broad range of industries and disciplines, the honorees are driving impact across the region and beyond through their professional excellence and industry leadership.

Juan advises health systems, hospitals, physician groups, pharmacies and other healthcare businesses on regulatory compliance, complex transactions and internal and government investigations. He has led large teams of attorneys on multimillion-dollar matters, supporting the development or acquisition of more than 25 hospitals, dozens of ambulatory surgical centers, long-term care facilities and multiple medical office buildings. He regularly secures regulatory approval for complex ownership changes, helping clients expand access to care and achieve strategic growth.
In addition to his practice, Juan serves as co-chair of the firm’s Inclusion & Opportunity Committee and is deeply involved in the community. He serves as board director and vice president of La Casa Norte, a Chicago-based organization that provides housing and supportive services to children and families facing homelessness. Juan is also chair emeritus of the Latino Leadership Council and holds board positions with the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, HLAI Charities and the We CAN Achieve Foundation.
