May 9, 2024
Benesch is pleased to announce that the firm has advanced 10 spots to #137 on the 2024 Am Law 200 list, which features the nation’s highest-grossing law firms based on 2023 revenue. Since debuting on the Am Law 200 list in 2016, Benesch has risen 58 places, this year boasting a double-digit increase in gross revenue in the “Second Hundred” category. Benesch’s 10-spot rise ties the firm for third-largest ranking increase of all Am Law 200 firms on the 2024 list.

The Am Law 200 is the definitive ranking of the Second Hundred largest law firms in the United States by gross revenue. Published each year through the efforts of Law.com Compass and The American Lawyer editorial team, this report offers firm-by-firm data on key financial metrics and deep analysis of the cohort’s performance and what it means for the rest of the market. Information includes an examination of revenue, profits, per-lawyer metrics, head count growth and much more.
“Benesch’s continued recognition on the Am Law 200 list is a reflection of our strategic growth,” said Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “Rising 58 spots since our debut on the list eight years ago truly underscores Benesch’s position as a frontrunner among the nation’s fastest-growing law firms, and I am so proud to be leading this team as we continue to expand our services for the benefit of our clients.”
Benesch has emerged as a leading, innovative force in the legal landscape, rapidly expanding into key markets including Chicago, San Francisco and New York. With remarkable success in attracting top talent—predominantly comprised of accomplished partners from BigLaw—the firm has grown to more than 400 attorneys.
