Benesch Advances to #148 in 2024 NLJ 500 Rankings, Marking Continued Growth

Benesch is pleased to announce that the firm has been ranked #148 in the 2024 NLJ 500 rankings, marking an advancement from its 2023 ranking of #151 in line with the firm’s continued growth. In 2023, Benesch added 93 laterals to its roster, maintaining an industry-leading five-year lateral partner retention rate of 155%.

The NLJ 500 ranks the nation’s 500 largest firms based on headcount. Published annually in collaboration with Law.com Compass and The National Law Journal editorial team, this report provides insights into the growth and contraction of the country’s largest law firms.

Data for the NLJ 500 is collected simultaneously with the Am Law financial numbers. ALM sent surveys this year to more than 900 law firms to determine the 500 largest U.S.-centric firms by headcount. Firms ranked lower than No. 350 are categorized into two tiers rather than receiving individual ranks. More details about the research methodology can be found here.
