In this latest development, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Scott Everett indicated he would approve up to $950,000 in additional debtor-in-possession financing for Merit Street, while declining to dismiss the bankruptcy at this stage. Judge Everett noted that conversion to Chapter 7 remains under consideration, leaving PBR’s interests and $181.4 million breach of contract claim central to the ongoing proceedings.
